Influenza (Flu) Vaccination Clinics

Prince George’s County Health Department (HD), in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH) recommendations, is offering H1N1 Influenza vaccinations to the general public subject to vaccine availability. Clinics are dependent upon vaccine quantities on-hand.

NOTE: In order for a child to receive a 2nd dose of H1N1 (Children age 10 years and below) or seasonal influenza vaccine (Children age 9 years and below), one of the following acceptable proofs of first vaccination must be provided:

  • Physician note indicating date of the vaccination
  • Form from a clinic indicating the date of vaccination
  • Copy of a completed vaccination administration record

SCHOOL CHILDREN AND CHILDREN IN DAY CARE CENTERS

Students in public elementary, middle and high school will be vaccinated by the Health Department for H1N1 flu in school. Private school students and children in day care centers will be provided vaccinations at community or Health Department clinics. Parents and guardians should contact their child's school for more information.
