Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating four violent crimes that occurred
in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway within a 90-minute time frame.
On today’s date, at approximately 5:00 a.m., officers responded to the 3200 block of Reed Street in Glendarden, Maryland for
the report of a shooting. When officers arrived on the scene, they found 26 year old Herminio Moscoso of the 3200 block of
Reed Street in Glenarden, lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the upper body. Mr. Moscoso was pronounced dead on
the scene. Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was entering a vehicle when the suspects approached them. An
altercation ensued and one of the suspects produced a handgun and fired a shot at the victim, striking him in the upper body.
At approximately 5:15 a.m., officers responded to the 6900 block of Columbia Park Road in Landover, Maryland for what they
believe to be a vehicle accident with injuries. When they arrived on the scene, they found 46 year old William Everette Miller,
Jr. of the 7700 block of Burnside Road in Landover, suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. Mr. Miller was transported
to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that the victim was at a gas station in the 7100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway
in Landover, when several suspects approached him. The victim attempted to flee the scene with one of the suspects hanging
onto the driver’s side door. It was at that time, the suspect fired a single gunshot at the victim.
At approximately 6:15 a.m., officers responded to the 5100 block of Duel Place in Fairmount Heights, for a citizen robbery.
The victim was at a gas station when several male suspects approached him. The suspects proceeded to rob the victim of his
personal belongings before fleeing the scene.
At 6:20 a.m., officers responded to another citizen robbery in the 5600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway in Capitol
Heights. The victim was approached by the same suspects and robbed of his personal belongings.
The four suspects are described as black males, possibly late teens or early twenties. One of the suspects is about 5’7”,
22-25 years old, wearing a gray long sleeve T-shirt, and cornrow hairstyle. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a newer
model tan or beige/light colored sedan.
The Prince George’s County Police Department is offering a $5000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest and indictment
of the suspects. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide

of up to $1,000 is being offered for the tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect. The investigation is
