Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying
a homicide victim found on September 3, 2006. On September 3, 2006, at approximately 7:00 a.m., Maryland Park Police notified Prince George’s County Police Homicide
Investigators of a body found in the Anacostia River Park, located in the 3500 block of 38th Avenue. When investigators arrived,
they discovered the decomposed body of an adult male. The medical examiner’s office is still trying to determine a time frame
of when the victim died. As the victim did not have any identification on him, investigators are working hard to identify him as well as to establish
a motive associated with this homicide. They are asking for any witnesses to come forward with any information. Anyone with information about this case should call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit at (301)
