Target Audience: Participants in this course should include emergency response personnel, such as fire protection and law enforcement personnel, emergency medical services (EMS) responders, Department of Public Works, Department of Public Health, Emergency Management, Mass Care, Non-Governmental agencies, and members of various community and tribal groups offering critical emergency response services. Priority will be given to members of the NCR – Incident Management Team members.

L550 –COOP PLANNER’S TRAIN-THE-TRAINER WORKSHOP
The Continuity of Operations (COOP) Planner’s Workshop is to provide COOP training for Continuity Planners at the Federal, State, Territorial, Local, and Tribal levels of government. Federal
Continuity Directive (FCD) 1 directs the Federal executive branch departments and agencies and offers guidance for non-federal, in governments for developing COOP Plans and Programs. COOP
Plans facilitate the performance of essential functions during any situation which may disrupt normal operations. The goal of this workshop is to provide you with the tools and hands-on experience
necessary to improve your departments’ or agencies’ Continuity of Operations (COOP) plans. This training includes a train-the-trainer module to equip planners to facilitate the course to others.

ICS-300: Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents
This 24-hour classroom course is designed for front-line personnel with supervisory responsibilities, such as the Incident Commander or Planning Section Chief. The three-day curriculum includes instruction in general principles associated with incident command, along with various tabletop exercises that allow students to put this knowledge to practical use.

PER 211 Medical Management of CBRNE Events
Participants completing this program will be able to properly perform patient triage, decontamination, treatment, and transportation in the event of exposure to chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive (CBRNE) weapons. The course consists of facilitated discussions, small group exercises, hands-on activities, and task-oriented practical applications. Course participants will use both state-of-the-art adult and pediatric human patient simulators to promote critical thinking skills while utilizing the RAPID – Care concept.
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to demonstrate the skills necessary for proper detection and monitoring, triage, mass decontamination, treatment, stabilization, self-protection, and cross-contamination prevention.
Target Audience: EMS technicians, paramedics, Fire and HazMat personnel, Law Enforcement, Public Health, Physicians, physician assistant, Emergency Management and hospital, and medical treatment facility personnel.

MGT-346 Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Operations and Planning for All-Hazards Events
The EOC course offers participants insight into, and practical experience with, emergency management and decision-making skills necessary to effectively manage an EOC and the overall response to a large-scale Type 3 or 2 and Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)/terrorism incident or all-hazard event utilizing the MACS. The EOC course is 24 hours in length, with decision-based exercises comprising 8 of the 24 hours. This course will develop and reinforce emergency management, situational awareness, information management, resource management, and decision-making skills for course participants. The course adapts existing emergency management [National Incident Management System (NIMS)/Incident Command System (ICS)] procedures to the unique requirements of EOC operations
Target Audience: Eligible participants include emergency management and response personnel who currently or potentially work in an EOC at the state, local, tribal or DoD installation level. Enrollment can be single participants, jurisdictions, or mixed. Disciplines include, but are not limited to:

ICS-400: Advanced ICS for Command and General Staff, Complex Incidents and MACS
A 16-hour classroom course provides training on the advanced resource management provisions of the Incident Command System (ICS). Course topics include explaining the special management challenges of major incidents, as well as explaining how Multi-agency Coordination Systems (MACS) are established. The target audience for this course is senior personnel who are expected to perform in a management capacity in an Area Command or Multi-agency Coordination Entity.
Prerequisites: ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300, and IS-700.

AWR136 - Essentials of Community Cyber Security
Essentials of Community Cyber Security is a 1/2 day introduction to cyber security. This course is a basic awareness course that explores how cyber attacks can impact, prevent and/or stop business operations and emergency response, through a discussion-based curriculum building terminology, ways to identify fundamental cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and countermeasures.
Topics: Basic Cyber Security Terminology, Levels of cyber security threats, Techniques for security awareness with community leaders, and how cyber attacks affect physical world
Audience Participants that would like to better understand basic computer security such as emergency operations, critical infrastructures, public or private incident response personnel, state, county, and municipal officers, as well as industry members
WebEOC User Training (PDF 34KB) - Detailed Class Description (PDF 14KB)
This is a one-day entry level class designed to teach new WebEOC users how to effectively use and operate the application. Participants will gain a basic understanding of how WebEOC can be used to support all phases of management during a major emergency, disaster, exercise, or event. Also serves as a refresher course.
