Services for Infants and Toddlers Under Age 3 with Developmental Delays and Disabilities
Every child is precious. While children grow and develop at their own rate, some may experience delays in their development compared with most other children of the same age.
The Prince George's County Infants and Toddlers Program is a system of early intervention services available to all children under the age of three who may have a developmental delay or a special health care condition that is likely to lead to non-typical development.
All services are provided at no cost to families whose children qualify, and there is no income eligibility requirement.
Early intervention services can help you and your family:
- identify your child's strengths and needs
- support and promote your child's development
- include your child more in family activities and community life
Early intervention services can be provided in:
- your home
- a child car center or family child care home
- libraries, recreational centers, and playgrounds
- any other place that parents and children go for fun and support
ITP Services:
