Court Designated Visitors to Inmates

Court designated visitors to inmates include Circuit Court mental health staff, Parole and Probation staff, Civil Commitment staff, and other Court personnel. These professionals will be allowed contact visits with their clients in the housing units’ contact visiting booths to conduct their court-related interviews.

Note: All professional visitors' briefcases will be opened and inspected by the Reception Officer. They will be required to pass through the upright metal detector. They will sign the Professional Visitors' Logbook.

The Reception Officer will verify identification and issue a Visitors' Pass (red pass if visiting corridor blue pass if visiting in Processing Area) before allowing them entry into the facility.

If the inmate to be seen is located in the processing area, the professional visitor may use the contact interview rooms located in the rear of the processing area
